I LOVE CLIMBING: YouTube Channels

Updated: Jun 13, 2019

It's essential that every climber has ways to stay motivated and stoked to climb when they are at home or on a rest day. One of my favourite ways to get motivated at home is to watch some strong climber trying hard on their indoor and outdoor projects. Today I'll be sharing some of my favourite pages I follow to keep me stoked and excited to climb.

Eric is an exceptional climbing vlogger from Stockholm, Sweden. I started following him over a year ago when he was putting out a climbing video every day for a whole year. It was the coolest thing to get to know him and his crew throughout the year with episodes every day. His videos are indoor project bouldering sessions, beautiful outdoor sessions, classic fun indoor crew climbing, and even some Indoor high-quality lead videos. Sitting down to watch 10 minutes of his crew goofing off and working on a climb makes me feel like I'm at the session with them. I would highly recommend checking out his Youtube channel, and you just might get sucked in for the next few years like me. https://www.youtube.com/user/opuz1337

EpicTV puts out climbing content daily on all their channels. They are an excellent resource for climbing news, outdoor climbing updates, and some great coverage of climbing competitions around the world. I have been watching their videos nearly every day for around a year now and look forward to when I can make time to watch their videos. Go check them out on Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIRIbjrEHserQZ6O1Jd9wrg

Magnus Midtbø

Magnus is one the strongest climbers I've ever seen and inspires me everytime I watch one of his vlogs. Magnus is a professional climber and gym owner in Oslo, Norway. He doesn't put out content super frequently, but his channel is definitely worth checking out for some serious inspiration. He has done some sweet collaborations in the past which are fun to watch and is famous for his incredible exercise feats like a one finger pull up and a one arm muscle up. Here is a link to his youtube page. https://www.youtube.com/user/magmidt88/featured

I also want to mention Mellow Climbing. Which is a new climbing channel made by some of the top outdoor climbers in the world for climbers and to get you motivated for your next climbing session. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5jRwTUqG15l-BcqQHbVFtA

These are just a few of the youtube channels I watch on a frequent basis. That's all for today come back tomorrow at 6 pm (Pst) for another blog post.
