My Climbing Goals for 2019 and Beyond

Hey, climbing is an amazing sport; setting and achieving your climbing goals is one of the best parts of climbing. I think it's critical to have short-term and long-term climbing goals for yourself. So I thought I'd share my goals for 2019 and beyond with you.

Climbing Goals for this Week: - Improve on my fitness assesment after my 30 Fitness and Diet Challenge(See Instagram for More Information)

- Finish newly set V8 in the cave

- Finish my lead project 5.12b/c (It would be my first clean lead climb at that grade. I've got it down to 1 take and just need to finish it off next session)

- Enjoy all the new rope climbs set this last week

Climbing Goals for this Year:

- Climb multiple V10's at my local gym

- Send an indoor 5.13

- Get outdoors lots and figure out what level I'm at on ropes and on bouldering

- Improve my route setting and be able to set quality boulders and ropes

- Meet and talk to more climbers from all around the world

- Climb at some beautiful crags near me, Smith Rock, Bishop, etc

Climbing Goals for the Future:

- Climb benchmark moonboard V10

- Climb an 8A boulder and sport climb

- Become a climbing coach to inspire and train the next generation of climbers

- Route set for National Level competitions

- Travel the world to some of the most beautiful crags around the world

- Motivate climbers of all levels to push themselves to become the best climber they can be

So these are just some of my main goals I have for my climbing. I hope you enjoyed this style of post. That's all for today come back tomorrow at 6 pm (Pst) for another blog post.
